Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH) is Korea’s oldest and most prestigious medical institution, tracing its lineage to 1885 when it was established as Gwanghyewon — Korea’s first modern Western medicine hospital, founded by royal decree of King Gojong. With 141 years of continuous operation, SNUH is affiliated with Seoul National University College of Medicine, Korea’s most prestigious medical school.
